5 months, and no PR update .. Do you think ...

I think Google will dissolve PR later this year! there is no signs of PR update in last 5 months :9

Google updates number of links on one of my sites today...could that be a sign?

 

ive always wondered about this. i have a few sites ranking #1 over high pr sites while mine has a 0.
the only ones of mine that have any pr are older sites, they dont even have anything on them?!

 

6 months now ... I'm really tired of waiting ..
it must be this month .... really !

 

Now PR is just only determine the quality of back links

Be patient! I learned that the guy who was responsible of pushing the PR update button at google died 7 months ago in a car accident since then google decided to keep his legacy and not to push the button until they find somebody else with the same qualities, they are still looking.. you might consider applying one of the key requirement you must have long ears.

Say this to the flippers and the people who pay insane amounts of cash for PR websites.

You sir, know nothing about the website and domains market.

PR not only has $$$ value, as it is a MAJOR player when it comes to outranking websites.

Study a little more before posting that kind of useless information.

Well according to me PR had a value for me when I was really new to the world of "www" but since then when I came in contact with real time web developer friends then I realized that it's just a magic number to which some people gave a lot of importance and that rumor is still on. It's obvious that PR is not a measure of a quality of any website because I know some of the websites having PR3-5 without a single post since last year!

I think we guys should concentrate on our search engine ranking! And google or any other should start a page rank based on the actual keywords that are in search engine ranking. This may change the whole world of web!

 

I think theres a herd mentality. Right now everyones saying "Pagerank isn't important blah blah." Garbage if Pagerank wasn't important then why even assign it in the first place?
