I have a 5-month-old blog. The traffic of my blog is too low. What thing that i can do to increase my traffic?? I have do Digg submission and ping as well. But the traffic seems don't have any improvement.
It does not matter how much longer it is, you need to post regularly to get indexed, only quality posts can attract visitors.
Monitor your search engine referrals and see if it improves along the way with your targeted keywords. At the mean time, you should do some social marketing like commenting in other blogs Good luck!
I agree with Bob. If you notice on your stats, a Digg submission only lasts so long...... you should seriously schedule every Friday night or something. Write a *Good* *Useful* blog entry, then Digg it
Advertise your blog in seo forums and submit your blog in blog directories and stumble upon pages. This will help you in getting recognition.Make sure, you keep updating your blog.
problem is your blog domain doesn't resemble your content in any way.... from the first impression it looks like an 'environment related/pollution crisis' blog lol.... No offense of course but you must do something with much "out of the blue" with the design of your blog... Sometimes, with all done properly its the designing part which sets it apart....
Hi There, I took a look at your blog and did some computer assisted analysis as well. Starting with the analysis, Google has 65 of your pages indexed VS 3 pages on MSN. You've got about 1500 or so backlinks from both Altavista and AllTheWeb. Backlinks are what make things happen, especially from Google's perspective. Their Spiders love to snack on them. However, you don't have any measurable backlinks from Google (there are several ways to acquire backlinks but articles work best. It's not a quick fix in any case). Visually, your blog needs a more balanced focus. The pages are too busy with ads. You'll want to add content. Ideally this will be content that is focused on a primary niche. It's easy to believe Amazon's shotgun approach to marketing with 100s of items on a page is the way to go. With guns and pockets as deep as Amazon's this may be true. However, for smaller marketers, focusing on one specific product per page will make the difference. Write or hire an article writer. You'll want at least a half dozen keyword laden articles that provide solid information about what you're promoting. Nothing salesy....we're talking informative. You could cover both areas by writing reviews of products or services that match your niche. Customers flock to the Internet to find information before they purchase. Your blog will rise in the rankings if you provide more content.....quality content draws eyeballs. An example is auto sales. According to the US Department of Commerce, 85% of automobile sales are driven by women. 90% of these savvy shoppers start their search online...by checking information sites to learn about features and benefits. Hope this helps...if not PM me with your questions. Ciao, DocRich
Ok, I took a look at your blog. The problem is that you don't have an overall theme or subject for your blog. It is like about everything a bit (Environment, Tips, Make Money Online, Reviews, Web, Tech and Download). Therefor it is hard to get authority on subjects and it will be harder to rank. Also it is difficult for readers what they can expect from you. When I subscribe to a blog I know what that blog is about and what I can expect from the blogger, in terms of the subjects he covers. Focus on one subject (theme) for your blog, write consistently for the first couple of months. Make good use of SEO. Do some keyword research for your subject and write articles about that. In 5 months you should have had at least about 80-100 posts. If you did that on one subject, than I'm sure you would have seen a lot more traffic, no matter what the subject/theme is. Good Luck, Emiel
Thank you DocRich and Smizzl!!! Thanks you for your suggestion. I think I am going to narrow my topic. But I can't drop these two theme.. environment, technology and tips. The rest, I am willing to drop it. So, Do i need to delete the older post which are not related to the three topic above? Or I have to keep it??
I just responded to your PM. You're on the right track now. Hold on to your older post. With a few good batches of solid content and a narrower focus you'll start getting Googled DocRich
ALong with using digg you should start commenting in blogs similiar to your site. You will be able to get cross traffic due to like content.
