5 Keywords, SEO and Results. This can happen quick.

The truth of SEO is, it works great when you target very minimum keywords.. Consider just 5 keywords. You can get your site in top 10 and infact top 3 in just 3-4 months times.

Remember. These keywords should be two keyword phrase and above. Anybody with similar experience. If yes then we should discuss how is it possible.

Pick keywords, write about keywords, get links.

 

Yes i got such a experience, I optimize for 15 keywords and got good result for around 20 keywords..

 

Choosing less keywords for optimizing is better it will be more better if you target one keyword for one page...

 

I think less keywords doesn't work available, more keywords more better.

 

When ever you search a keywords always remembers keywords should be unique and not exceed than 7-8 words.

 

For a non-competitive long-tail keyword you can be at no 1 in half in hour.

You'll never get any visitors from it though.

 

But by making article or review about certain keyword and include it in title to become long-tail keyword, it could help too.

 

backlinks are more important . . . tho you can always get ranked for really obscure keywords, but there's no point ..

 

From my experience, backlinks will do 95% percent of the job, regardless of your keywords.

 

i am not agree coz more keywords u chose then more traffic u can get...M I right Members..?

 

1-3 keywords per page that has quality and optimized content, not including contact forms, privacy policies, html sitemaps, etc.

 

Its true but why this happen? I think the reason is that we can easily focus on each word, having bundles of keywords may not helpful in getting quick results, Change strategy 5 words first time then 5 more for next period but do white hat SEO so the keywords may not lost their position in one month.

I think target only 4-5 keywords for your website's home page. This is easy to promote and rank well in few months. After getting these keywords top 10 in Google.com, check webmaster tool, you will be amazing that there are also many keywords ranking well that you had never thought before.

 

i had optimized my site with all popular keyword in my niche and got top 10 rank with all keywords within 4 months. got some rank with single keywords but ranking is around 60 which is useless. but top 10 ranked keyword drives around 5000 uv daily from google alone

 

the more keywords the better. more keywords, more traffic.

 

I'd rather have a decent rank for a popular keyword than rank number one for a keyword that isn't popular at all. That's just me though.

 

Actually I go for about a dozen an try to do it in 1-3 months.

 

I've done this. ~ One month ago i started a small site. (20.03-22.03; homepage + 9 pages)

Every page, includind homepage, was optimized for 2 keywords. (of course, keywords from homepage were the main keywords and keywords from the other pages were long tails, closely related to the main keywords)
After i've done onpage seo for whole site, creating a sitemap, adding the site in google webmaster tools, submitting the sitemap, posting my site to digg and getting the site indexed in google (after 3-4 days) i started a link building campain:

#1 week: onpage seo, sitemap, etc... >google index
#2 week: link building >page %$^%$7
#3 week: link building >page 3-4
#4 week: link building >page 1 (9 ... 8)
#5 week (this week): i stopped link building >page 1 (6 ... 5 ... 4 ... today >> #3 with homepage)


* the backlinks started to be "seen" by search engines (yahoo) at the ending of the #4 week and from then they're growing.
* for backlinks i used a list of 262 directories (seof and dofollow). yes, i know that directories aren't so powerful anymore, but i didn't had time to work too much on this site and i used them
* the language of the site is non-english
