$5 for logo design

Hi,

I am looking for a logo designer or anyone who is capable with the many tools that can create good images for a site.

I have a template logo, which has the background color etc for your use. I can not post this right now nor the url as the site is just starting, and first impressions last.

I might just add that the site iis about Metal Music.. If this helps refine things..

That works out at £2.04 in UK pounds. The minimum wage here is about £4.50, so that means to earn minimum hourly rate I'd have about 23 minutes. Since it took me 2 minutes to check the currency and another 4 minutes to write this reply, that would leave 17 minutes, total.

However, it takes around 30 seconds for the different graphics programs to boot up from cold and I'd need at least 2 running at different stages in the process and these would need to be booted, probably a minimum of 3 times each which would shave another 3 minutes off the time allocated, bringing it to 14 minutes.

From this 14, I would also need to factor in the time spent reading and sending one or two PM's, which would knock at least another 3 minutes from the allocated time, bringing it to 11 minutes in total I could allocate to a logo design. However, before I could do that, I would need to navigate to the site and spend some time viewing in order to get an idea of colors and the type of design required which would knock another 5 minutes off the time bringing it to 6 minutes.

But first I would have to take some screen shots and color samples, requiring another two programs which would eat up another minute booting up between them and another two minutes thereafter to perform the necessary operations. This leaves 3 minutes.

However, this post actually took me 7 minutes to write instead of the projected 4 minutes, which brings the time allocated to zero.

I would consider it more for around $50

I'm a very frugal person but $5 is insulting. You probably would have received better responses from people if you asked for a free logo.
