Hi, I have shortlisted to use this WordPress theme but it has some cross-browser rendering issues. Please see this page for more info : http://topwpthemes.com/computerized-wordpress-theme/ Looks like it needs some CSS modifications. I need it to be cross-browser compatible (IE 5,6,7; FF, Opera). Anyone who posts a working fix gets $5 by paypal instantly. PM me if you have fixed it. Thanks
Well, this isn't too tough and will require a few minutes for an experienced web designer. Anyone, please?
You don't need to bump this so soon. Give it some time. Maybe you should add some details. Saying that it needs to be cross-browser compatible isn't very specific. I am sure there are plenty of people that can fix it, but you saying stuff like "DP doesn't even have capable designers/coders" is just sort of annoying. If all else fails, you may want to offer a little more than $5 to make it worth someones time. Most people here will help you for free, but sometimes I guess you just gotta offer up some money. And again, if you were to post the files and problems, it would make it a lot easier and more people would take a look.
Well, first of all, this is a public release free wordpress template. The template designer said he'd release a fix soon, but I guess it won't come ever and he's gone inactive. I need this working, so paying a little that I can afford. Yes, I know it should be as simple as adjusting a few lines of css. If you visit the link I gave in first post, you'd see what problems I'm talking about. Just view the live demo in different browsers and you'd understand what are the errors.
If I'm not mistaken that's 'Sea Cliff' wordpress theme. I'm pretty sure I've seen a stylesheet fix for it to work properly in IE6. If it works in Firefox 2, IE7 and IE6, I'd also suspect it to be okay in Opera. Can't remember exactly where I seen it, though. Most probably on a free wordpress theme sites comments.
Nope, its "computerized" free wordpress theme by voidix. Opens ok in opera, but issues with IE/FF as evident from the link I gave.
Ah, sorry, I thought you were referring to the theme the site displaying your theme has. Topwpthemes.com is using the Sea Cliff theme. I assume the only issue is the menu is being displayed at the top right of the main content body whereas it is supposed to be placed at the bottom left of the header image? That really shouldn't be difficult to solve. Give me 5 minutes, I'm just uploading the theme Thanks
Hey. This was quite an easy one. Please check the following and make sure it's what you needed: http://www.cupar-online.com/ Code (markup): Thanks
Not yet ! It rendered fine in opera but fails in other browsers when I tried it before. This is what I see in IE6 (winxp sp2) : Broken menubar : http://i30.tinypic.com/25kka6u.jpg Sidebar comes after content : http://i28.tinypic.com/2me1lk7.jpg
Hey. I took a further look into the problem your screenshots show and can see it'll be more than a 2 minute job than it was to fix the menu positioning. Ah well, I fixed the main problem - it looks great in Firefox now IE6's use is falling by 2% every month, too.
Those were the 2 main issues for me...many thanks for looking into it, rep added. Need these fixed...
