Being concerned with what You (the newbie) wants instead of giving the visitor what they want (Real, expert, valuable helpful information)
I'm still a newb but one thing I've learned so far is that you need to actually implement all the knowledge you require rather than bookmarking/saving it away and not using it...oh yeah and one other thing don't get into buying domains and then letting them sit there and do nothing! waste of money!
Nice advices! my advice is when the newb find idea and he thinks it cool he will try to start it as fast as he can and he even doesn't know how hard it is.
And registering your site for the wrong keywords!! Esp. with Google - which prefers link tag more than keywords in content. Yahoo ranks more for content than link tags - friendly tip!
Yes I agree. One of the biggest distractions is this idea that you can buy traffic. You can pay for PPC but it is hard to make a profit unless you have a product that sells for quite a high price. It's really difficult to find low priced keywords which can bring you have any amount of traffic. The only answer to high amounts of traffic is hard work, networking, content and more content and more content and time. Never participative in these stupid traffic swap programs such as TrafficSwarm. They get U impressions on the page, which means that your pages are displayed but never seen by anybody or if it is ,it is only so that somebody can get credits so they can get their paeg seen. This is never going to bring quality traffic which is going to buy from you.
