    How do you ensure your WordPress blog stays fast?

    Whenever I start a blog I make sure to do the following:
    1. Set up Caching
    2. Optimize Images, CSS, HTML, and JS
    3. Use Functions when Applicable
    4. Pick Lightweight Themes
    5. Pick a Reliable Host

    I wrote a blog post about covering these steps in more detail if you want to read more about this. If you have any better ways to make your site faster than please post them in this thread.

    Using the YSlow addon for Firefox is a good way to easily test the speed of a website and to see what needs to be fixed.

    I think the best way to make your wordpress faster is using the Minimum Call of Database codes such :
    - the search for the theme used to link the CSS and JS Files...
    - The Call of The Logo, Favicon, ADS...etc from the Theme Options Page...
    - The Use of a Lot Of Plugins
