I've moved from getting a consistent of a few bucks a day to consistently getting $5 more or less a day. Is this a lot or a little bit compared to everyone else on this forum?
It's amazing compared to what most others are getting. That's approx. $1800/year, it should pay for hosting and lots of other things (domains, etc).
If you are doing stuffs according to Adsense Terms, its very good! but if you are doing anything against the Adsense Terms! Expect Account Termination or Ban!
That is very good, did you do anything different? As long as you are not breaking any rules you will be fine!
All I did was modify the ad position because originally I had it on the bottom so i moved it to middle of screen Yea I hit around 1000 uniques with my sites altogether, depending on days of week
$5 per day for 1000 uniques sounds like a good amount, depending on your niche. It would be a good idea to play around with your ad placement, making sure it blends well with the rest of your site. Keep in mind when placing ads that a readers eyes generally go from top left, to bottom right, so ads on the left hand side and top of the screen will be the most eye-catching while ads in the lower right will rarely even be seen. And yes, continue adding content. Readers that show up to your site for a second time to find you have not added anything will almost never return for a third time.
Sounds like you're doing fine. Always aim higher, but be proud of what you've accomplished. $5 a day is more than a lot of people in the world make, and you're probably doing far less physical work than them.
I prefer not to...I got screwed over in the past before posting my web sites on forums. I guess they clicked on my adsense a lot and my $ per click dropped a lot this forum was offtopic btw but half of my income comes from 2 proxies and half comes from 2 other sites
Any month you can break the minimum google adsense payment threshold ($100) is a good month. But soon you'll want to be seeing $10/day...
True, always have the next goal in sight. it can be frustrating at times toget good figures and see them drop off so keep working at maintaining your current level and trying to aim for the next. Some months all my work just goes into maintaining current levels when earnings are low but slowly they creep up if you keep working at it
If it's good or not depends if you want to quit your job or not. $5 is not something that you can live on, but it's better than nothing. Next step is to try and aim for $10 a day. Also, so many people on these forums always ask is $5 a day good or i'm earning $10 a day, which is good. When it comes to earning, you should look at your earnings per pageview or earnings per unique on average. For example, if you are earning $5 from 20,000 uniques then that is very poor earnings, but if you earn't that from 1000 pageviews then that is alright earnings.
