5 clicks - 30 cents

So I've been doing progressively better with AdSense sense I started using it a few months back. I'm still way off in terms of where I want to be but at least I feel like I'm making a little bit of progress. Today for example I'm at 5 clicks which is actually really good for me, but these 5 clicks total a whopping 30 cents.

This is probably the most basic of questions, but is there any way I can 'control' this. Meaning is there a way to display only ads that give a greater amount of income per click???

Ha-ha. I can see where this thread is going.

    "That's nothing , man. I once got 1 penny for 875 clicks!"
There. Did I win? (Just joking).

I usually try to dump ads that pay less that 4 cents a click.

Isn't there some kind of new "Publisher Ad Management Panel", which allows you to specify a minimum payout that you will accept? Or did I just see that in the "AdSense Wish List" post?

Mate, what's your niche? Games? Wallpapers? I'm sure it's not loans, otherwise you'll get some $1+ clicks. Adsense pays you a % of what advertisers pay through Adwords. There's no point in seeing this at the wrong perspective... If you have game ads, you'll receive $0.05 clicks.
