If you don't mind, please list the 5 best directories, in your opinion, based on the following terms: Value in terms of traffic and pagerank I am just looking for your top 5. If it is a $99 directory, so be it, but it better be 20+ times better than a $5 directory. I would expect my site to get some traffic from each directory, as well as a bit of pagerank magic. I have a few new sites that I want to promote, and I am not afraid to spend the money. I have in the past, always submitted the site to a few directories, but I would like to expand my directory list, and am looking for suggestions. Please do not spam this thread with your crappy PR0 directories. Thanks in advance, hopefully this list will help others besides me.

There is no such thing like 5 best directories as there are many well established, strong, top web directories where you can submit your website. You'll have to think in terms of quality vs price... I like to search for niche directories based on PR, Traffic, and Value. Then I go see if the directory gets any search engine traffic. I can usually narrow the list to a few high quality directories that actually generate some traffic from my site. I also believe (but can't prove) that these type of directories are more valuable to my SERPs.
