5 ad units on one page? are bloggers allowed?

I recently came across this guy's blog:

    maddmoney .blogspot. com/

are bloggers allowed to cram these units into their pages if they are on Google's "Blogger" ?

or is this just another case of TOS violation? How does big G not know this on their own property?

If he is really using 5 Ads then it is against TOS. I do not see this site as being a premium publisher so I doubt they have permission to do it. I did notice quite a few ad systems being run, but the one that caught my eye was the YPN code in addition to the Google. So best to contact Google about it and let them handle it.

That's right, Google only allows 3 AdSense units plus 1 block of links and up to 2 search boxes in a single page

No this person doesn't have 5 google ads. Blogger includes a script that will disable any ads from showing after 3.

    So why all the ads.

Hmm. . .I checked out the source code.

He wants a Google ad placed after every post but the Google script doesn't display those. The first ad on the left sidebar and the ad on the right sidebar point to a script the leads to:

i.e. YPN ads. He has 3 google ads (top banner, bottom left sidebar, square after first post) and 2 YPN ads. I'm not sure if YPN and Adsense can be on the same page together, or if YPN ads can be targeted. If that is the case then it IS AGAINST TOS.

If you notice the YPN ads don't have Ads by Google (duh) or Advertise on this site on them.

Therefore, the blogger does NOT have 5 google ads.

When in doubt check the source code.

I had allready saw the YPN ads in the source as well and everything else and metioned that. I think his intention was to fill up as much space as he could with ads. Also unless you are a premium publisher (as we seem to see this alot with them) you cannot have both YPN and Google on same page. Like I was saying I doubt he is a premium publisher.

    Yup,

I agree with you. He violates it because he has YPN and Google ads. However, even though he wants to display like 10 google ads only 3 will show.

Others were stating that it was 5 Google ads which it wasn't.

I think one page can't show more than 3 ads. The next ads just disappears automatic.. from my experience.

I think this site is a super account (or whatever they call and account that gets more than 100,000 pageviews per month). I don't know what the rules are exactly but I've seen Yahoo ads and google ads on websites that get more than 100,000 pageviews per month.

How do I know? The basic adsense accound doesn't have an ad type like the one he has in the middle.

if you see the source code of this page you will see 24 times the adsense javascript code.
I search for "pub-" and find 24 times pub-3711176671385657

No it can't be a premium account.

It needs 12 million per month for Google to allow you in.

Clears every doubt that you might have, but still you can mail adsense team for reporting it.
