5,222 subscribers in 2 days!

I don't really believe if it's true but I can't find any explanation why I should believe it is not true.. My RSS subscribers has mysteriously jumped from an average of 80 to 5K++ in just 2 days... I can't really figure it out why...

The following is today's data.. I did never put that counter on my site until today because the record keeps on dropping to ZERO everyday...

Today's count shows 5,301


The the following image says I have 371


And this one says I have both 371 and 5,222


The counter also shows I have 5,222


Do you think it is true? Or just a glitch? I consider myself a very lucky blog owner if this is true... Any feedback please....

 

Give me a break. You know about the feedburner hack just like everyone else.

 

No, I have no idea about it... and I checked my feedblitz which is totally independent with my feedburner and now I have 5K too...

I don't really understand...

my suggestion : wait untill 2 weeks
this is old trick that can be played easily.
if your stat remain 5k then its good for you
if not.. this is just resurrection of old school tricks .

 

For me it says you have 5190 subscribers...

 

The question can be answered much better with looking at your ranking in either Alexa or Compete or some other independent traffic source. Although, you should be able to post something about analytics its rare to see someone with feed burner & no analytics. That too should show a jump, why not sign up for analytics, put it on your site, then, show us those numbers. That should make a few people be quit.

 

My analytics is behaving weird since last month and until today, I don't even have a single visitor from central asia, africa, and south america so I cannot say my analytics is accurate...Pluto is correct, I should wait for weeks and see if the stat will change..

check where your clicks are coming from in the stats on your cpanel
