5,000 searches in a month, just 15,000 results

I found a keyword with 5,000 searches in 1 month according to Overture, and there's just 15,000 results just by typing it in Google. However, this keyword seems very long, and includes some arcane words in it... Is Overture always accurate?

Because I'm skeptical whether 5000 people really searched for this exact word in Google... it seems like something someone would have to copy and paste from somewhere... and I doubt everyone would spell every single word correctly. Sometimes I see really strange keywords using the Overture Keyword Tool, and wonder why so many people search for it

Sounds like an example of rigged results. Some people somehow mess up the overture search volume, presumably by doing automated queries for a keyword phrase.

    Don't bother with it .

Also when looking for keyword niches look if the keyword isn't a news related query . I found once a very searched keyword , got #1 on Google and 0 visitors (old news ) .

    Good luck .

lol, Overture sometimes does some cool stuff so people will bid on their terms.
