I'm a visitor from another planet and have been to this world twice before, but experienced some problems and had to land. Now, I'm lost due to my geographical data being erased. If I could just get the name of the city to my south, I'd be able to finish my journey.


Your mission, if you chose to accept, is to help me find the name of the city to my south.


Clues

* I was heading west toward the Pacific ocean when I experience some technical problems and had to land.

* The last know continent I was over was North America.

* I see a Highway in front of me and I know there's a city just to the south. All I need from you is the name of that city. The blue dot is where I'm located.

* The highway in front of me is heading in a North/South direction.

* The city to my south has another highway intersecting the highway in front of me and heading in an East/West direction.

Hmm, the green circle things looks like something you'd see in Nellis AFB, and the city south of that is Las Vegas. Is that the correct city south of you?

edit, nvm didn't see the 2nd screenshot. las vegas is too crowded for it to be that.

Hmm, well I found out that the green circles in the first picture is called center pivot irrigation. I remembered seeing those types of circles when doing a search for Nellis AFB a while back, shown here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=...653213,-115.785728&spn=0.138354,0.146942&z=12 The road north of the circles is even called The Extraterrestrial Highway . But, then I found out that center pivot irrigation is common and all over the place in the US.

 

It sounds as if you know where I was heading, but not where I am at.

 

Oh, I'm determined now to find where you are :-P. This is fun .
