4K visitors/day and PR0 and no pp indexed? C'mon!

I've got 4000 uniques/day on my myspace resource site, 3000 of which are from Google. I created the site in august of '06 and traffic has built steadily. I've got 5-6 PR4-5 sites linking in, and link exchanges with 5-6 more PR 4-5 sites. I have 142 pp indexed in Yahoo, but to date I don't have a single page indexed in Google, and a PR0. WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG? Maybe more importantly, what kind of universe sends me 3000 people a day and claims to have no knowledge of me in their database???

Don't pay attention to what google says about your backlinks and what pages they have indexed.

    Period.

They don't show everything, and it's intentional. And it doesn't matter.

Google only updates that information for public viewing periodically. If you are receiving that much Google traffic, and based on your linked in sites, you are probably a PR3 or PR4. PR is updated every day on Google's servers, but only every few months for public consumption.

PR is well just that another measuring tool that does not amount to much unless selling links ... one of my sites PR4 gets just a handfull of traffic. Its 8 years old. I have other sites with PR2 or less that get much more.

Also... if you sign for Google Webmaster Tools / Sitemaps. You will notice that it tells you what the page rank for the pages on your site are. (It's only a global statistic) but it is updated more frequently.

    Cheers!

The sitemaps thing is a good idea I forgot about. And analytics is a good thing to watch too.

I know that PR is arbitrary and ultimately not much good for anything more than selling links. I guess I just wanted to post to see if anyone could point out anything incredibly obviously stupid I had done with the site (that I wasn't aware of :)) and, lacking anything big of that nature, point out the absurdity of the whole ranking/indexing thing (once again).

    thanks for hearing me out.

It depends on how much they like your site. It usually ranges from daily to monthly.

Its depends on a lot of factors....IF you have a lot of links from authority sites, you can get crawled every day...

I have a couple sites that aren't even that strong yet and they get crawled every 2 days

your site has only been around for 6 months, you get sandboxed, and if you just made your site a week or 2 after a google update, your 1st update would still be while sandboxed, so you wont see much, i think you need 10 backlinks to get pr1 but you should show in the next update,
without putting a link to your site, you restrict the checks we can make to see if anything is wrong.
if you are asking for help about a site, a link to it would help.
it's like a blind man if your tie is straight, if he cant see it he cant tell you.
