    Usually its 10x monthly earnings if there needs to be work put into the site to maintain the same monthly revenue, if its on autopilot and requires pretty much no work, then its a 20x monthly earnings.

    Thanks for your input " populartemplate ". Emphasis on the word " usually " here.
    What I'm offering, I believe is unusual in the sense that the revenue generation is guaranteed unlike sites earning money via adsense etc.
    As mentioned earlier, the profit margin is predicted to increase to $5 - $7k/ month by end of this year pending introduction of a classified ad section, a directory and a few other addons.
    So, a starting bid of 1.5 years profit is very reasonable I think!
