Anyone else involved in 4D domains now? We have gotten into a few and was curious on your opinions on the market potential now and into the near future. A few gems we have listed at http://dropor.com/4d-domains.html : Printing4D.com Printers4D.com Prints4D.com 4DimensionalPrinter.com 3D24D.com
4d domains are and have been a pretty hot item. As they become more of a consumer good, the demand will only go up. Looks like you listed some of them on flippa, i'd consider knocking down the prices just a tad . And listing them all at once isn't typically the best idea because they'll cannibalize each other. An investor would much rather rather pay more for the best and nothing for the less than desirable ones. Consider just selling as a portfolio.
Really appreciate the info as that was the first time selling on flippa Thought about listing 1 at a time but felt 3 was not too overboard and the pricing was high it seems but flippa doesnt really cater to end users prices either so domainers scour flippa for the super low prices to flip i guess. Was considering selling all in one portfolio but unsure how to prices these darn 4d domains now As you see we have some fairly decent ones that have future potential but like an domain its all relative We've researched 4D domains bigtime for last year and felt it was market to consider since 3d dot coms are all but gone now. We felt Printing4D.com was pretty much a premium domain and comparable to the most wanted 4Dprinting dot com version. The issues is now how to price them so we get a decent sale and not gouge the buyer or scare people away? On flippa we scared alot of people away with the buy now price so that was an issue wether to list a buy now or not even. How much would you folks list our 4D domains for sale to resellers and end users? Its a quandry! So with that said folks come on to dropor.com and make an offer on 1 some or all the 4d domains listed as you know there's only 1 of each dot com in existence. Appreciate your input!
Check "4D" relates sales: http://dnpric.es/?q=4d Only 68 items, many unrelated, the numbers are not impressive. Search for "3D" names, and it gets much better, with nearly 500 sales and 3d.com sold for 500,000.00 USD... http://dnpric.es/?q=3d
Your dead on with that. Apologies OP, to my first point. Confused 4D w/ 3D, as in "as 3D printing becomes more of a consumer good...", 4D looks to be still underdevelopment. With that said, if 3D had such a craze why not 4D. How long it takes to catch on is anyone's best guess.
