I would definitely not consider myself to be a guru on Amazon Associates but I have had more luck than most on it. I made $48 so far this month, which is not great but for residual income, I cannot complain. It fills my Yaris's gas tank twice. If you are making a more than me, I would appreciate any advice. Also, if you are not making much, feel free to ask me any questions here...I would be more than willing to help.
Congrats for the nice income... I want to know the way you promote and what product u sell... Do u use astore ? if yes, how many of them so far to get the income like that? TQ..
I sell a specific niche of self help books. No, I do not use Astore, I find that tool useless. On the website, I have a lot of videos so as people watch videos from the authors, they purchase the books from the author. I would not say it is a nice income though.
There are only a few websites hitting this niche right now and the other websites are far less optimized than my own. So to maintain my niche, I would prefer not to share the actual website. But it is a niche of self help books and videos.
my revenue is $1700 but I only earn $41... there is some product that only earn for 1% and the problem is that product cost $1200
mxyzplk, That is why I chose books and DVDs because they have higher yields, I would say my average is 4-6.5% per product, which is pretty decent. Are the electronics you have on mxlaptop.com items that low in how much they pay out to affiliates?
Way to go. I've had some good months, then some slow months with Amazon. For me it seems to be highly contingent on the economy and season... in summer people don't seem to be into my niche as much as during the school year.
flashgordon, I like your bauu institute website, it is designed really well in the sense that it looks like an authentic academia website, as oppose to a generic blog/ecommerce website.
I have been earning an average of $70 dollars from Amazon and that is through product blog review. Though not yet that big amount but it shows that with right effort you can earn something big from amazon.
sakto, is this your Eco Friendly Tek, Cordless Power Tool Shop or another website? It is fine if you want to keep it anonymous for competitive advantages and what not, but I am interested to see how your blog review site looks like because my website is not in a blog format.
All I can say is that good earnings to get started, but definitely you are promoting the wrong products.
Yup, I have another blog review site. I'm just testing the online store format but still yet to earn something substantial from it. Product review blog/site works better as evidenced by the generated earnings and that is without any promotion. Just a dose of original product review/article from time to time. Basically, a product review site is just a blog that does product reviews/articles with corresponding affiliate links.
junior, Could you explain what BANS store is and how effective it is? I have heard of it a few times but it is not something I am too familiar with.
javaongsan, It is a combination of Youtube marketing, blog backlink generation, SEO, email marketing (driving people that subscribes back to the website), etc. I will PM you both privately and specifically to provide you some extra information on my marketing strategies, as I do not want to water down the competitive advantage I have in that niche. However, I am working with another DP member to re-create what I have but in a different industry: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1387254&highlight=documented My goal is to add on each week and document every step, so DP members can benefit, assuming I start generating money with this new online mini-venture.
