Thanks for the effort guys. I am glad you got the idea. Don't modify anything. I will only ask you to change something if you win. However, I always like to provide feedback.

Intayke: thanks for the try. If you win, I will ask you to remove the black squares and replace them with red ones. I like how you wrote world class proteins diagonally. I like yours the best so far.

Neil: thanks for giving it a try. Looks good. If you win I will ask you to replace the black squares with white, and will also ask you to use a thicker font for world class proteins.

arabsquad: look forward to your entry.

If anyone else wants to give this a go, try something a little more creative. For example use some rounded squares, or circles, or use a mirror effect, or drop shadow or whatever. I still need 3 or 4 images on every line. You DON'T have to use squares. It can even be without squares but simply have something to separate the logo and the slogan.

I want to wrap this up today. Time on the screen is 2.52pm. I will wait until time on the screen says 2.00am which is when I must end this (so another 11-12 hrs from now only)

    Some feedback:

Intayke: thanks for the new one. I am sorry but I don't really like the star. Maybe it's just me coming from a communist country and that communist star brings back bad memories. lol I still like your first try better.

TDGraphics: Thanks for giving this a shot. I like your first entry. It's very clean and sticks to the basics: red and white colours. The only thing that I would change would be the colour of the font for world class proteins. I would make the text white on red. This would make it more visible. And perhaps (since I am big on visibility) I would use a bigger font and then write world on one line then class underneath and proteins underneath again (all in the same square though, still on an angle). I am not asking you to make these changes but I am just providing feedback. As for your second entry I don't really like the addition of black. I prefer to stick mainly with red and white.

Thanks for the entry. It's quite pleasant. The only downside is the squares you used for world class proteins are not red enough. They look a little towards pink. I'm sure you can easily change the colour (make it more red) but I don't want to waste your time. Best to wait until all entries come in. I'm sure if you're the winner you can change it then.

TDGraphics: no hurry mate. the time at my end is 12.51pm so I will still be around.

Thanks TD. I will be ending this in about 9 hours starting from the time of this post.

And regarding feedback: your new try is much better although it still has a black outline for the actual logo. I like the bottom one (mainly red and white).

I would say yours and arabsquad. I will probably ask one of you to add some small changes once I pick the winner. I am willing to pay a little extra for the small changes though.

For example arabsquad needs to make the red background darker red (looks a bnit faded now) and you (TD) would need to use a bolder/wider font for world class proteins.

From my point of view... When a beveled image is printed it takes away from the contentof the poster. Looks like too much almost. Key to advertising is simple yet effective.

iNTaYke: thanks for making my decision harder :) What I really love in your latest submission is the shade of red for world class proteins. The only drawback is you added some grey which I guess is OK, but I think I prefer mainly red and white.

And this is the part that bugs me the most: I don't want to waste your time guys so please don't do changes unless you're ok with that. Because in the end there will only be one winner. At the same time I do feel like I owe to give you some feedback. So me providing feedback does not mean I expect you to do changes.

TD I am sorry but I am not sure what you're trying with this. Please keep in mind I am not a designer so that is why I don't get this one. Are you tring to show me an example with the bigger logo in the middle?
