48 Hour Logo Contest - $120 Prize

Hello guys,

I hope this contest runs as smoothly as the other ones I created.

Details: The logo is going to be used in a Car Sales related website.

Lettring: Motorsde

Concept: The logo should have that Web 2.0 feel to it. We don’t want Icons, a good clean lettring will do, unless the Icon blends in perfectly with the rest of the Logo elements.
The client wishes to portray a serious and confident image, but at the same time modern and clean. So please no Flags or any of those "motorish" standards themes. Go more for the corporative look.

Colors: The client suggested green tones, but you may play around a little bit. White Background please.
My Requests:

• Please post your entries in external links
• Please do not post the name of the client in the threads
• Please don't use the client's name in the name of the files

We will need the Vector of the Logo.

Payment: Paypal Only.
Deadline: 18/06/2007 at 16 GMT

Do you accept high res PSDs of the logo? I'm guessing maybe not if it's for large scale printing. If you do, i'll submit one though.

We sure do. PSD will work out fine. The Logo is going to be used for a Web Project.

I will definitely enter, but a couple questions:

1) is "Motorsde" correct? Wasn't sure if it was supposed to be "Motorside", or if "sde" should be all caps?

2) Not sure what you mean by

Isn't the client's name "Motorsde"?

Maybe I'm just dense.

 

I think he means don't use anything in your posts that google can index Nobody wants their site's first result being a link to the logo contest lol.

Maybe that has a typo in it intentionally lol. I know pedro is from portugal so it might just be some foreign word too lol.

Guys, please remember, white backgrounds.

And you can use Icons, but they need to blend in the Logo in a serious and corporative manner, or just play with letters inside the Lettring. Just a suggestion though.
