Are you sure this is real letter from India Registry ? Why don't you email to their registry and ask to see if you can get your refund back from your previous renewal. Not sure if there is anything else you can do beside follow their rules (if that email is not FAKE). Good luck mate.

I hate to tell you this, but it looks like you've officially got yourself a problem...

    See Section 67... http://www.mit.gov.in/default.aspx?id=206

    Wish I had better news...

Are you sure it isn't fake? Never heard of Indian government shutting down pornographic names.

The letter appears to be from the .in Registry, not the Indian government. It so
happens they have a law against what the OP's doing with the domain names.

If you get letters like this, you really should pay attention. Even for the first offense, there's a pretty stiff penalty...

"shall be punished on first conviction with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years and with fine which may extend to one lakh rupees and in the event of a second or subsequent conviction with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years and also with fine which may extend to two lakh rupees."

doridori, I'd at least pay attention long enough to ascertain whether or not you're getting a legitimate letter. That, and I wouldn't run a porn site on an .in website....
