I just started a new website here. I want to have a nice logo, which needs to have a "transparent background" so I can place it over the header background, which is viewable here. The header background image is 956 x 149. This is a stock Ning theme, so if you can come up with a better website background and header image / logo I'll pay you $100. One of the other sites I have that I like is this, not that I want it to look the same, but just so you get an idea of the quality...bought on DP! Indiana Politics is the theme, and the title of the website is the name. I need to be able to use the logo for a twitter account, etc, so please keep that in mind. I need this quick as the site has already been announced, but quality may take a couple more hours than 48. Please give me your best! Thanks in advance.

Alir: Nice entry, but it is a little too plain for me. technoguy: I like the banner, but the logo isn't working for me. richard.westman: The font is not right for this one, and the logo / button looks too plain. daput73: I'm not getting the logo, and the font in the banner is too generic. Chewysmom: The background of the header doesn't really go with the rest of the site. The font isn't great and I don't want to make the State of Indiana red or blue as that would signify a political preference. youloveme44: That is very different. You caught me off guard and I am still trying to decide on it. For future designs, can we take the word "discussion" out of the tagline? Sorry to be so honest for this contest, but I'm in a hurry! Before I enter, is it ok that everyone is using that same emblem that was in the other banner? I know you asked for it to not be like that banner, simple to use it for inspiration, but does the emblem have some time of meaning that relates to your site as well? Because everyone is using it. I wanted to know before I use it or anything.
V06-TECH - I would rather the emblem in the other site NOT be used. Well you can use it, but make it look different than the other site. It is part of the Indiana State Flag. But, they are two different sites. Thank you for asking!
