I was just curious as to which one may perform better for a Graphics forum, been trying to monetize it, since its traffic is going up.
Try a horizontal ad link unit -- in between posts Leaderboards - which you have currently implemented look good. 468x60 wont look that cool
i just put 2 leader boards together just below to the nav bar and it is workking for me as CREAM!!! i made 489 $ in last 7 days my earning was only around 700 last month
ya only from my forum...........sorry for link a lot of my friend s told me about click bombs but here is the screen shot of my placement it is the only change i made that inccreased my earning from 20$/day to over 60$/day http://img92.imageshack.us/my.php?image=adsense6sd.jpg
Here's a thought: you might want to move the banner (I recommend leaderboard) down from its current position to between the "Welcome to the TutorialTomb Forums" section and the beginning of the category listings. Right now it's all the way at the top, and you have so many things going on up there, that I bet most of your visitors scroll down without even seeing the ads just to get to the category listing.
This AdSense blog post contains some recommendations about banners vs. leaderboards: http://adsense.blogspot.com/2006/04/meet-ivan-optimiser-but-please-no.html I also recommend this post which has some tips for optimizing forums: http://adsense.blogspot.com/2005/10/six-adsense-optimization-tips-for.html Hope that helps! -ASA
I look at Perezhilton.com to see what he's doing with his Tribalfusion and Adsense ads. He gets 700,000 visits a day. He puts a TF image leaderboard at the top and then a Adsense text leaderboard right below it. I'm going to try that.
