Why would Google submit to these dir? I never knew Google submitted sites to any dir?

I doubt there could be more new directories on any list out there.
I have been compiling a list and got to the 20,000 mark.
Anytime now, I see a new list - there is nothing new on it.

I think most webmasters can say the same.

theres another list floating around that has many 4000+ free directories that is 1 year old now
but a good reference for those free directories that stood the test of time as some never decided
to go paid or closed their doors and are still free

My god, what is it with people that are always trying to make a fast buck selling what is already available for free here on DP or elsewhere.
