Contest $45 T-H-R-E-E letter logo contest -simple but challenging

Hello again talented people,

I hope this time I will get this right. I need a logo for gym equipment related business. That is why the logo needs to have a metallic look, to resemble the metal or iron used in dumbbells, barbells or weight lifting plates.

Name: KOL

Colours: needs to be a metallic colour (or to have the metal or aluminium look).

Font: I prefer a bold font

I want something simple and stylish (but not plain). A simple tweak to one of the letters, a small overlapping, etc could win this contest.

DO NOT: do not use any symbols of bodybuilders, muscle men or gym equipment. The only relation to the gym equipment needs to be the metal/iron look

cosmin90: thank you for getting this started. But...doesn't look too good. I need something a little more metal/iron looking Here is an example: https://www.blackbeardesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/11.jpg Also the O looks too much like a target and I do not need a target. The fonts could be slightly bolder and I don't mind if for example they overlap just like you did for the o and L maybe you can do for the foot of the K overlapping the O. The smaller logo on thew black bottom part of your presentation looks a lot better and the o looks less like a target which is good. But I also have to take into account if the logo is displayed on white background not just red.

akhilrs: thanks for the entry. It looks very good, very simple and yet very stylish. It also has the metallic look I requested. But I don't really like the font. Somehow the font looks a bit too squarish, and a bit too pointy especially for the L.

akhilrs: thanks for the new one. I like the font a lot better but I am sorry to say the way you joined the k and the o, it makes it appear or makes me think of a roll of film. I think I would be fine with this font just simple with a small overlapping, such as the foot of the K overlapping in the lower part over the O. This is just a suggestion. I am sure I will most likely change my mind if a get other submissions, but right now it is looking good, just can't get over the part where it looks like a roll of film or a roll of paper. I'm going to get some rest now so if you submit another one shortly I won't be able to comment for quite a few hours.
