The biggest thing going for this site this year is the release of the next project by the creators of Pokemon working exclusively with Rare which is both an Xbox 360 title and a TV series - we currently rank 5th for on Google with a backlink from Microsoft's official website coming shortly.

We don't know if they are serious, real or will be completed.

Yeah but it is not fair to who bid on your site and wait. Seems it is not last minute interest, it looks greedy to me.

 

I have involved the highest bidders to date, spoke with one all morning yesterday.

 

So your telling me you have made any revenue from this site yet pay $200 or so for a server for it? Very nice site though.

 

This site has mostly been a non profit site for the majority of the years it has been in action.
I've gone over in detail with two of the serious bidders the exact ins and outs of the online store, private advertisers and adsense income the site has generated but I personally have not made this sites focus a profit one.
I have other projects I get money from but I am deeply attached to Rare-Extreme, paying around $280 a year is a small price to pay for the level of site Rare-Extreme is at.
Microsoft and Rare read the site, its the main online community for Rare LTD, the entire company reads the site daily and Rare is one of the biggest and most respected games developers globally.
They created Donkey Kong Country and Goldeneye 007 for N64. Their next biggest game is backed by the creators of Pokemon! Its all out of love!

two offers have fallen through with both buyers unable to commit to their offers

 

I'm the one who committed to buying the site but due to something totally unexpected I couldn't come up with the money.

I believe that rare-extreme is one of those sites that you rarely find for sale and it's well worth the money.

He is not holding out for more money. I spent a great deal of time researching this site and their is no problem whatsoever with it. All the stats and Links have been verified by myself. Everything is as he said it is and more.
The site has huge potential and I am really sorry that I will not be the future owner.
