    Title: Rare-Extreme

    URL: www.rare-extreme.com (and rarextreme.com)

    Traffic sample:

Just a little about the site:

Listed and featured on a number of Microsoft.com's Games Studio's websites

    Featured in Wired Magazine (2002)

Featured on Slash.org, IGN, computerandvideogames.com, gamespot.com among many other
    online and offline magazines.

    Site Age: 6 years

Numerous web awards for the website design

Dominates on Google for major Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo products including a product backed by the creators of
Pokemon and shortly to be released as a tv series

Exclusives that keep the industry focused on my site round the clock with more
contacts then ever and VIP status at major press conferences in LA and the UK.

To sum up, the growth of my site is exponential each year, over 6 years the site has
become one of the strongest in its market and there's no reason why this wont explode
    further into the future.

Cost: Avg annual cost of $280 to support two servers with over 200 gigs of monthly bandwidth.

Web traffic cycles as new titles are announced and released.

Moving into the movie/tv series industry with several titles being made into movies/tv shows.

Revenue: I'll leave that up to the you

What am I after for it? Put a price on that kind of web traffic and reputation.

    Thanks

Site is surely wonderful. But without the traffic and revenue estimation it is very difficult to put any bid.

the traffic is clearly shown in the graph I posted.

I don't know what BIN stands for but I'm looking for offers

Its a site with traffic, revenue is something the buyer will be in charge of.

    Thanks

(43,000,000 hits means nothing, IMHO) Page view and uniques are what are important, but you did get 20,000 page hits a day last month.

hmm but only 2500 registered members in the forum? Can you at least PM revenue details? So we can have an idea of what to bid.

You should have an idea of what your assets are worth. Anyhow is this an auction or are you just getting appraisals?

    $500 to start.

Well of course we will be in charge of the revenue... hell, we will be in charge of everything if it is our site. But what we are asking is "How much does this site make in terms of money? How much revenue does your google ads bring in??"

The stats you posted include bots, so the real stats could be like only 50% of what you show. :(

    Try posting AwStats next time.

Nice site. Even though you get plenty of hits this doesn't mean nothing. What adds value to your site is traffic volume (which in your case is pretty little 2000-3000 uniques per month including searchbots), revenue volume (which you are not revealing). And traffic refferals (Search traffic is best)

I am interested in your site, but you will have to show little bit more than just a screenshot of your webalizer.

Please pm me revenue details, proof of revenue, screenshots of traffic and refferals ( counters are preffered as they tend to filter search bots and crawlers.) Awstats is ok too.
And I will make you an offer.

    Thanks
    Nik

You guys shouldn't rely on Webalizer stats. 20k pageviews in the damn stats is in fact only 3-5k. I observe it on a few sites.

Never rely on webalizer if you don't want to get burnt.

Kind of sounds like it's not making much at this point. Unfortunately for the seller is that he's not going to get the kind of money he thinks it's worth as any prudent buyer buys primarily on the revenue the site produces.
It is a beautiful site indeed, but it looks like there is little to no monetization of the site. Perhaps if you had a list of SE referrals so we could see which keywords you rank highly for, we could give you a closer to your expectations bid.

First off, I don't know the vendor.

Bidding for this site will likely exceed my current budget, which is why I will share my thoughts on it. I was curious and did a little sleuthing myself. Typing in the name of each game does bring consistent top ten results in google, either to a forum post or to the game review on site.

The site is barely monetized, with poor ad placement anyway, so anyone expecting this person to sell on revenue is unrealistic. Once traffic is confirmed, there is likely good potential here. I see a sitemeter link - is that new or can we get historical stats from this?

    Thanks,
    tasty

Finally some intelligent bidding begins after the retarded posts in the beginning of the thread.

$2,200. Very interested in seeing a BIN price.
