422.000 Supplemental results - help needed!

I really need some help with a website I'm working for: www.glo-con.com

It has 422.000 supplemental results and after speaking with other 3 webmasters we did not find a solution how to reduce them yet.

The site has a complex structure and the only articles I found about how you can reduce supplemental results by modifying the robots.txt, were related to blogs.

    Please give me some advice.

You need to do the following:
    1) Write a unique meta description tag for every single page of the site. You might be able to generate this from the database somehow.
    2) Remove most of the content like external links from the footer, it makes all the pages look the same.
    3) Pages like this have hidden content which seems strange, why not make it visible?
    4) Build some high quality links to all your pages, not just the homepage.

    1) thanks for the suggestion I will try it
    2) Many of the sites listed are paying sponsors so I can't remove them
    3) where is the hidden content??
    4) I think this is impossible for a website with 400.000-500.000 pages :D

    Yep ! I agree with mad4.

You must change the description of the different pages. This thing alone will make your pages come out of the supplementals.

Compare this page with the content hidden to this page with the content showing.

The sites that are paying sponsors may well be costing you more than they are paying you. I believe that Google is cracking down on sites that sell links.

@seoperson: each page has already a different description and different meta tags

@mad4: there is a lot of hidden content! I actually have no idea why...thanks a lot for your tips. Rep added :D

Some of the meta descriptions are not very useful:
    <META NAME="Description" CONTENT="RESIDENCE: TUZLA / BODRUM / TURKEY( GOLF COURSE ) (reda)">

You would be better using the first 250 characters from the description field that you are using for hidden content instead. :)

Thanks trichnosis, the articles were very useful.

This is what I'm going to try now:

    1) redirect from glo-con.com/index.php to glo-con.com
    2) make a human sitemap containing all the articles and real estate listings
    3) different sitemap.html file for each language
    4) remove some of the footer links
    5) deleting some useless pages
    6) don't allow Google bot to index the "extra image" pages you can find on each real estate listing page
    7) remove the "random real estate" bar at the top of each listing page (it is creating hidden and duplicate content).
    8) leave google less possibilities to spider the website. Now there are many different ways to reach a certain page.

Do you think this should help to reduce the supplemental results?
