    Hi guy's

I recently tried to improve the speed of my website and was wondering if you could test it.

    www.keone.com

I gzipped the html cropped and combined some images and I'm also using a cache so things should run smoother.

The tests I ran myself made an improvement of about 40k and the download time for 56k should be 8 seconds faster now.

Let me know how it is loading as I'm worried my host is getting slow.

    Thanks

It took me 2.397 seconds. and I have t1 connection, so I guess it is still kinda slow, or it might just my connection. Let's see what other people say.

total size is 36862 bytes so it should load in 0.4 seconds on a T1
and about 7.5 secs on 56k.

Speed report said .91 sec on a T1.

When I actually clicked the link it was longer. I figure your main lag now is probably from you server side.

I already thought the server was lagging.
It's getting worse every day. I suspect a high traffic site is sucking up the bandwidth.

3700 bytes incl. scripts and css isn't that bad is it? or do you think I should clean up the template and use less images more?

or is it time to find a new host?

2.1 seconds here. You must have a popular site.

Thanks all for the compliments and tests
beeing a rod maker I think I did a great job.

Yes traffic is getting better and better. That's why I do not want to discourage the slow connection user and try to make it load as fast as I possibly can.

The layout (template) asks for few images but however I want it to load fast I would like it to look good too.

Again thanks for all the test loads and compliments

Loads pretty fast, I think the loading speed is acceptable.

This could be because I just changed servers
I changed from shared to VPS yesterday.
