404 Problem because of modrewrite...

Hey everyone...I need help on a unique problem.
The details:
1.) This page http://www.websiteconsultants.org/lead-generation/ is showing up fine to the human eye but delivering back a HTTP 404 Error to crawlers/bots
2.) I have mod_rewite this url...the actual file is http://www.websiteconsultants.org/lead-generation.php
3.) Here is the rewrite:
RewriteRule ^lead-generation/$ lead-generation.php [L]


Anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Well if it makes you feel any better, it's technically returning a 404 status to everyone not just browsers. The *.php URL returns a 200 status along with identical content though.

I don't think it is that RewriteRule alone that's doing it.
