so i guess it's totally ok to implement google ads into a custom 404 page when it's part of a frameset which has a navigation bar at the left?

Why i better teach how to give green dots :) You click on the scale and then write what you think. But do not be a backstabber talk it out in the forum instead. :)

I doubt it. They say adsense can't be displayed on non-content pages.

What are you taking about? They just said adsense isn't allowed to be displayed on an error page.

Yes but they didn't specifically say "404". And they already confirmed that you could do so.

How about images next to ads? ;)

What if their reply will also be:
"Yes, images next to ads should be fine." :D

Their "Google Adsense Team" seems to be urm, i dunno what to call them lol.

Someone also sent an email asking them if 2 publisher ad codes on one page are fine, they replied with something like:

"It should be fine as long as the other publisher knows you've placed his/her ad code on your site". How the hell would they know that?!

As I recall Adsense's TOS, they clearly stated that no 2 pub id's can be placed on one page at the same time.

    Duh oh.

If you ever got banned you could refer to that email.

Boy you guys sure are bound by that code, so bound not even Google themselves could tell you it's wrong.

They don't need to specifically say "404". They said error pages, Which is what a 404 error page is. And it clearly states this in thier terms.

Go and look at thier terms if you don't believe me, But certainly don't believe an email that someone copy and pasted when you are uncertain about it's authenticity. This is why people get banned. They don't read the terms. What are you going to do when they ban you for displaying ads on an error page and say that email wasn't from them? I know what you will do, You will stamp your feet and cry just like eveyone else who gets banned because they didn't read the terms.

There is always proof to show the email was from them. That is pretty obvious. If you have a question about "404" pages and it doesn't say anything about "404" pages in the TOS, then what do you do? Email the adsense team, and they are clearly saying that 404 pages are OK. The TOS says nothing about "404" pages.

The terms say you can't display ads on error pages, Which obviously includes 404 error pages.
