I used to redirect 404 to my index.html and there was one 468 banner on my index page.

After 2 days I found out that it was against the tos to have adsense on error or no-content pages. so i removed the ad from my index page. ( there weren't any clicks anyway )

I think adsense also doesn't count clicks that happen after sneaky ridirects, in popups etc. ( but i'm not sure )

Don't do it, might get u banned
Read the ToS at least once a month...

with the last update in adsense TOS, you are allowed to use adsense on error pags even
