404 Not Found

Hello,

My wamp server was well downloaded and installed.The wordpress was also properly downloaded,extracted and configured;I copied the configured wordpress to wamp server.I tried to open my wp-admin with this link and I quote http://localhost/wp-admin/install.php but it reply me that the requested url was not found.Pls is there any way I can correct this?
Pls help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you create an additional directory for your Wordpress installation under the '/wamp/www' directory (e.g /wamp/www/wordpress)?

C:\wamp\www\ would be your root directory.
