I uploaded new homepages to some of my sites, and I get the error "404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument". I save my pages as "index.html" inside a folder linked to dreamweaver, and then upload the folder into my godaddy hosting accout via my ftp client.... can someone assist please.
    Thanks

Did you upload to the root folder in your godaddy account? if you put the files in any sub folders then you need to put that in the URL

I was uploading my entire folder, I went back and just uploaded the files themselves and it worked. Why cant I upload folders that have all the pictures/different pages organized with init?

Sonny, you can as long as the path of that domain(yoursite.com) points to that folder, otherwise it automatically goes to root folder. you can make your main site link paths to the sub-folders ie.

    sub-folder/file

    or

    http://yourdomain.com/sub-folder/file

    or

if in the sub-folders you named the linked pages index.(html or php, etc.),
you can just link to that folder.
