404 error with folder name change. help!

i dont know why its doing this but every time i chanfe the folder name for my wordpress blog to something other than wordpress i get a 404 error for every page....even the pages in the admin.. how do i change this and keep it from happening?

So, you're saying your blog is domain.com/wordpress, but you want to change the folder "wordpress" to something else?
