Hi All, I just started working on a new client website and when i did a site:www.site.com query, i found a lots of pages whose server header status when checked produced a 403 forbidden error. All these pages are otherwise redirected to website Home Page. I want to know whether it could create an issue in website promotion? What should I do of these pages? All these pages are in Google Index, should I request Google through Webmaster Tools to remove all these pages from Index? Admin, (I was not sure about the forum where should I post this thread. If you feel it inappropriate for the forum, kindly move it to the relevant one.)
I don't think it matters if those pages are in the Google index and it certainly doesn't effect the promotion of your website. If you are creating the website with Wordpress, just remove the pages from the dashboard, create an XML Sitemap and submit to Google Webmasters.
