4000 visits in a day fm StumbleUpon

can someone share tips on how to use StumbleUpon

One of my sites get about 80 unique visitors a month from Stumbleupon. How do I increase this? the site is http://www.cashflow420.com/albums.php

 

Stumble traffic will make you no money. I've had several articles stumbled and got huge traffic for 4 or 5 days but made no money from it. My best day was 15K.

I have seen or read many articles about getting benefiting from stumbleupon but I also stumbleuponed on some posts of my blog. No new visitors are seen over my blog. Is the effect get's better with only website but blogs? I a confused about that.

 

please tell me more about how you do that

yooooo stumbleupon increased my alexa rank now its on 411,698

got around 35k visits this months yoooooo
but now my college is open so finding it almost no time to maintain the site and havnt posted new jokes

 

I dunno. I think this could promote longer users. I consider any user to visit my site as potential for a return customer because the hard part is getting them there. As long as your content is halfway decent, sites like stumbleupon can lead to positive long term growth. So even though you might get that 400 person hike immediately and then nothing beyond that, perhaps 20 of those people will bookmark it and return someday. There is no wasted traffic.

 

yeah.. stumbleupon while gets you a lot of traffic, the quality of visitors is near 0.. what i mean is they never buy your eBook and are totally de-sensitized to banner ads and adsense.. yet they consume a lot of bandwidth (esp when you have videos like i do on my site)..

sorry to sound so pessimistic but i sometimes i really do wonder if it's any worth it.

I don't know about that. I've suddenly gotten tons of Stumblers, and my adsense revenue is going up a lot, in fact I made more in the last 7 days than I did all of last month, so I can't say Stumblers don't click.

A lot of stumblers actually stumble topics, so those are the ones who click. I was planning on stumbling topics to find some sites that might be willing to exchange links.

i used to add friends on my stumbleupon and then stumble my site...will my added friends see my site and get a traffic from them? just like what i also do in del.icio.us.

 

absolutely correct, traffic coming when you post your site after 2 or 3 days it's going down, stubleupon help to get ranking for your squidoo lens
