Adsense revenue grows when readers feel confident that a website has made every attempt to provide them with good information first. Your ad placement is overwhelming the content. Consider a design that overwhelms your visitor with your great subject matter and underwhelms them with more balanced ad placement.

Better to put your content inside of those graphics than your ads... Good ads always have the same background with contents. But anyway, your placement is impressive and unique.

I take issue with the comments I looked at your website & the ads weren't overwhelming at all. Nor do people give a damn if a website is just trying to make money from ads as long as there is some useful information Ignore what the other guy says

When I view your website, all I see is ads at first.
I have to scroll down to find the content. This will drive users away.

You should move your large rectangle ad below the first post so that visitors see content as well above the fold.

For me there is no problem putting ads on top..that is how you monitize your site..take a look at http://www.googlecommunity.com. You can see all ads..like mine too..http://www.myseoblog.net - after doing this, I got double my earnings..but still contents are the same..

It's alright to put ads on top of the content, but not all 3 content blocks. One block is alright, but it seems you just throw the ads at the visitor right when he arrives, which isn't good. Spread them out a bit farther and you should get better results.

Here's what I would do: leave the adsense where it is now (under the title), but remove that red background graphic and leave it white. Change the colors of the adsense to that dark blue (or whatever color you are using for your titles). This way your adsense blends with the rest of your site and this is what you want to achive.

Replaced white blended for the red blended.. having a little gain on click rate..

The blend in the top i have an awesome result.

I think the complaints about toomany ads are totally bogus.

Iagree withthe idea to drop the ad colored background.

You might put a google links block between your second and third posts, if you have that much control.

But there is something you can do that is far better than the opinions of anyone - make custom channels by ad block, then put them into the ads on your page. Then test ad blocks to see which ones are being clicked. then wait a couple of days, or even a week. Change the layout, moving the ad blocks and colors if you wish (not too many changes at once).

Then look at RESULTS. Facts make money, opinions make noise.
