Hey all, i'm back with a new contest, hopfully the high price will bring out the talent in you. we're building a new Cheap flight search engine and would like to have a cool Startup-like design, I'm going to need the following: 1. Logo 2. Icons 3. Page layout First of all, the Logo.. the domain name (for now) is going to be "Tus.li" and there's a slogan (we might change it, but for now it would be "Saving money was never easier" As the site itself is Aviation related i can probably think a plane or anything related might go in nicely. now, for the icons, there's going to be several tabs/options in the design - i would need a minimalist flat icons for them, it's really important as i'll probably use them (and you as a designer later of for the mobile app UI) 3. About the layout, i'm not 100% sure what i want.. but i do know that i'm after the latest web trend of startups and web 2.0.. that means you can get inspiration from the following websites: http://www.skyscanner.net/ http://www.skype.com/ http://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/37766.html (Really liked this concept) http://duolingo.com/ http://jaypegams.com/ http://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/40028.html http://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/39106.html http://www.templatemonster.com/flash-templates/38036.html I'll need 2 Search options (Icons ?!) 1 - Basic Where are you ? where do you want to go ? When ? (date1 Departure, Date2 Return), How many people ? 2. Advanced Same as above, but with filter field, - Different destinations (flying to one place and returning from a different one) - One way only - Anywhere (with no place set, it will just show the cheapest flights from your country to anywhere) - Flexible dates On top of that, i would need Icons and place in the design for the following places (i thought about it as bubble within the design or tab, but go wild) 1. Cheapest deals within the next 48 hous 2. Flights Monitoring (Users can choose to "monitor" flights and they will see the price change there) 3. News (News from the website) i know it's hard.. but i've seen amazing things coming from this forum.. so i can't wait to see what you have to offer. The contest is going to run for a minimum of 5 days starting today (24/8) and ending on the 29th if there would be a good flow of submissions and designers will need few extra days i might be willing to wait.. there might be a situation where i love one part of the design (for example logo) so i might offer to buy one or more parts of different designers design.. this will NOT replace the contest reward. @iunlock thank you for your submitting - but it's not what i'm after.. it's too dark and too heavy.. i was looking for something a lot lighter with brighter colors.
I'd like to ask one qn, would changing the colors satisfy? I mean, is the concept good? And the overall style of the buttons, input boxes, etc?
