400 month to spend on text links

I have $400 a month to spend on text link ads. The comapny I am working for is a major business. I am considering using www.text-link-ads.com. I know this is not the best way to go but it does seem like one of the easier ways.

I plan on using these ads for at least 12 months. What do you think?

I am also concerned about getting to many links to fast. I have added this site to 20 paid directories over the last 2 weeks. and I am planning to purchase at least 40 links form relevent sites. will this growth be to fast?

I have used it and had great results.

    However, this article suggests otherwise:

Linkworth and Linkadage are good places to find links as well. That doesn't sound too fast to me especially if it's an old domain or already has a number of backlinks.

I recently removed one of my money maker sites from gotlinks network. I guess you can keep it for about 4-6 months (meanwhile also build links) and once you have enough BLs get rid of gotlinks.

doesn't it have a tool to check if partners are still reciprocating? in that case, you will lose all your backlinks and it will be a waste of time.

I think buying a Directory wide link is better than using that kind of service.

Try Market place and see if you like the sites that are selling footer links.

That will give you good start.

    Thanks

Agreed, sponsoring a directory template is even better;) With sitewide links, the number of pages indexed & relevancy to your url is more important than the site's pagerank.

I did a recent blog post about getting link too fast. Essentially it boils down to whether or not the linking pattern is natural. If you get 10,000 footer links from 2 domains in a single day, that's unnatural. If you get 10,000 in-content links from 7,000 different domain, that's more natural.

i wold recommend looking at paid services that let you get natural-looking, in-content links such as ReviewMe.com or pre-sell pages.

With that kind of monthly budget you can concentrate on finding higher quality links. Their more expensive and you will get less of them. So no worries about your link growth being to fast, or wasting time searching out lots of lower quality links.

Text-Link-Ads can make it easy for you but its hard to determine if the links are quality. They don't let you see the domain so you can investigate further with backlink checks ad such. Sometimes you can figure out the domain from the description and screen shot but in most cases you can't.

I think you are better of buying links in the DP forum because you can get them at better value, but then again it does take much more of your time than would be the case on TLA.

It's a normal process. 20 links for 2 weeks is nothing to worry about, IMO. I've bought many links over a weekend before, may be 10 in 3 days. And now I could see my site rank pretty high on my choiced keyword.

I used to use GotLinks.com, but I didn't like it. Simply didn't get the backlinks. I now use Link-Vault, which seem much better. I'm also selling links on my website, if your interested (see sig).
