I am pretty new in this area - so I tried to place the AdSense code in to my seo site - but so far I have had no clicks... What am I doing wrong??
You need more traffic. 400 impressions isnt anything to be honest. And all i can see is one ad to the left, maybe include a banner. or another ad in the text? Good Luck
ha ha.that is simple.Because everyone who comes to your blog knows about adsense and other things related to how we make money and so they would never click on ads.
There could be many reasons the placement of ads user's are used to seeing ads that they know there ads, ads not relevant, ads not blended. not enough traffic.
I usually have terrible CTR with the advert sytle you are using I have seen much better from full adverts where people have a chance to sell themselves in the ad text.
I checked your site and your ad visibility could be better. There are sites talking about the best layout to use (the ones that make the most money). Also, 400 is not enough to really measure the performances. May be 1 person out of 100 will click in general. You need to wait a little, but I suggest you improve your layout.
Cool down Cowboy. 400 impressions is nothing. You need million impressions each day to earn $$$. Do not expect anything out of 400 impressions. Users have become smart. I had more than 1000 impressions without a click.
I agreed with all that 400 pageviews is simply too little, try to increase it and also provide more content on your site.
You put only link ads, link ads very hard to get click. Maybe you can try to use text link, then you can get some click
Did you see from where the visitors are coming from. If they are from search engine then you should at least get 4 - 5 clicks from 400 impressions just like 100:1 ratio. Well I visited your blog and can see only link ads, didn't you put content ads, they are more attractive, try them, you might get more clicks.
