This contest is for a Portrait company
Company Name: Papap Paparazzi
Papap - because it is a nick name for Grandpa
Paparazzi - because the company specializes in candid shots as portraits

Contest rules
The contest is for 48 hours or until a clear winner is decided on. Please let me know in the thread if you have any questions.
The winner will need to provide the logo in psd or vector (preferably both, but not required)
$40.00 Payment will be to the winners paypal account
All questions and submissions must be submitted through the thread. I will not take any PM-ed designs or questions.

Thanks for starting this contest! I do like your entry but it is not ideal for this project.
This says female photographer to me. The photographer is a grandpa age man.
Over all a little to feminine. Please see the samples in the link provided in post #1

I really do like this. It made me laugh! The look on the mans' expression is great!!
The only problem is that the head and face is a little distorted. I think it is to show his wrinkles.
He looks to be in his 80's a 50's to 60's age man might work better.
I do not rule this one out the way it is, but would love to see additional entries from you.

 

Now he looks bit younger hope you like it...

Actually it just looks like you erased some of the picture. Sorry. I like the original way better.

This logo I immediately liked and as I looked at it I realized that the man is using an old fashion movie camera I will be doing still photography only. So an old fashion camera would do much better. a modern camera the same oval style might also work.

This is also very nice. I like the root thing to visualize family this is the first entry to include that part of my original request. I would like to see the root be larger.

This is a 48 hour contest. Will not be closing it before the 24 hour mark for sure. Given my history it will likely go the full 48 hours which means you have about 42 hours left.

That is much better. I will ask you to clean up the hand that is on the lens ONLY if it is in the final three. No need to that now. Feel free to provide an additional entry of a different style in the mean time.

Another entry that made me laugh, I love it! The first entry with multiple colors.
It says paint artist more than photographic artist. But I can not think how to change it without loosing what makes it great!
You are way better at this than me so what do you think? My thought was kind of simple and may not even look good but what about a very small and simple icon of a camera, or flash unit, or lens or something in the words? Maybe even kind of like a dash between Papap and Paparazi. or maybe as part of one or more of the letters?????? Maybe the First "P" could be a flash unit with lines coming out its lens as if it were bright???????
