I am looking for a typographic logo for my company. $40 to the winner via paypal. Company name: Float What we do: Design and sell glass furniture Customer: Commercial and hospitality market Look: Our clients are predominantly high-end hospitality businesses and therefore we will need a clean, professional look. I'd like the logo to be almost fully typographic with some design differences to an individual letter or two based on our product and market to separate our brand. Colors: A copy of both white typography on black background and black on white. A tertiary green color may be introduced to the typography reminiscent of the green edge of glass that our products reflect. Font: I have a particular few that I had in mind: Bellerose, Adam Gorry-inline, Fashion Fetish, Meltix. This is just a direction of what I'm thinking of but I would prefer you use one that is congruent to your overall design direction. Can be all-caps, lower cases, or a mixture of both. Flex those creative muscles! Format: Ai or png preferred. Please have a look at this website for logo designs that are typically accepted in the industry. https://www.montageweb.com/index.php?page=commercial FIAM and Glas Italia would be direct competitors. Thanks in advance and good luck!
Hey @mogodogo This is my entry, hope you like it, as always feedback is very appreciated! Cheers, Jago
Hi guys, I do like the direction a few of your designs are taking and here's what I noticed. The most important part of the design is readability. Someone looking at the logo should immediately recognize the word and yet have it distinct enough to separate the brand. Think of it as if you were to attend a trade show and only have about 3 seconds per booth to register the logo in your mind. I would also like some incorporation of a green color. The color itself should stand out against a black or white background. Isolated to a single letter, part of a letter, or a line/dash strikethrough a single letter such as the middle of "f/F" or "A" or the top of the "t/T" depending on your casing. I think CreativeDiva's second design is quite good. The word is very readable in a clean way. I would like you to add some green if possible and see what we can get going in that direction. CreativeDiva's 3rd design I find actually more interesting than the 2nd. However, it isn't quite readable and I would remove the extra lines in F, A, and T, while only keeping the features in L and O while adding some green. PuttiDesign's first design is good, I think it needs some tinkering similar to what I've posted above. I also really like JagoDesign's too but it isn't readable upon first glance, I guess the "o" and "a" look too similar. Also I don't think I'll be able to identify the infinity sign with my brand and my product. Hope that gives you guys an idea of what I'm looking for. Keep up the good work, I think there's some really good stuff in here and please feel free to ask me any questions.
