Contest $40 Product Label Contest - 5 Days

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a product label design, contest will last for 5 days and the winner will receive $40 via paypal.

If no winner is found, will relist at a later date.

Width: 3.063

Resolution: Minimum 200dpi

Design:

Must use font: Scriptina

We're looking for something that is simple in design, minimalistic even. We're looking for something classy looking and professional. Hopefully your design isnt as bad as the crude mockup I made! I've created a very crude mockup which is attached below.

The main design aspects we're looking for is the Company name at the top with a Moon and water reflection under the moon.

We'd like the background to remain black but are open to the possibility of texture use as long as the label edges have a 15px black border fading into whatever background texture you choose.

The Barcode Area can be moved to any location that suits your design.

This label will be printed, please test print your image to make sure all font is readable.

I like what you did with the moon and the reflection! The label needs the border that I referenced in the OP. Also missing product name and mg level.

I failed to mention earlier that we need to use the "Scriptina" font (it's free if you dont have it yet).

Let me know what you'd like changed! I know this has a white bleed right now but obviously when you print it will be black, just wanted to show you I included it.

 

Here's my take on it:

 

@RussDesigner - I like the look of that, is it possible to keep the company name on one line to provide more space for the product name to be moved up. we have to include mg level on the label under the product name.

@Monica Cave - Any chance of adding a 15px inner border around that, I need a bleed area. Might lower the Stroke px width on lettering, needs some color to it as well.

@shizzie I'm digging the design, ight take a little less sparkle from the company name. I like the actual moon image, could be just a smidge smaller. a space for a product name and nicotine level should be added as well.

I took a few liberties with some small changes to the font.

 

@Robert Cox - I really like how you've layed everything out on the first. I like the moon and the water but I'm not a big fan of the blue gradient. If you use a background color it'd be nice for it to fade into the 15px black border instead of having a hard edge. Not a fan of the second one, too much information clutters the product label.

@Blaxis - I like that except for the stroke around the company name!

@Monica Cave - I really like the first one where the moon has it's texture. I'd like to see the moon moved up to the top a little more to better utilize the space better. If you could also include a revision where everythings not a center aligned label, i'd like to see a creative layout! Great job.

@Robert Cox - Your's looks great, I like how the gradient has been toned down and really like what you did under the product warning. I have some concerns though, have you printed this to see if the label would be readable at the defined dimensions? Additionally, My business partner is a fan of your design, he asked that you ppossibly make the product name font a little larger and the 12mg a 'prettier' font. Thank you!

The warning/ingredients label was readable before but I increased the size somewhat. I also increased the size of the logo and product name as well as changing the font for the dosage.
