He attempted to, but he didn't managed to.

I know you wont listen to what I have to say, since you think he is a good coder. But, he tried to take my money before finishing even though he was not going to finish.

And, he also missed out several emails from that log he posted, ones he sent to me.

Sounds to me like he's the one who got scammed. You said in your post that you got scammed however you never gave him money and who on earth would do an entire job without recieving some kind of payment. Im really interested in what you do for a job, bet you dont have a good relationship with your wife and family either.... I would bet my house on it.
Your just a bitter mean person who thinks everybody is out to get you.... Also why would you report him to IC3? Thats crazy, do you know thats FBI? Whats wrong with you, you never gave the guy a dime however you report him to the FBI....your a joke.

Well I am not married, so that would make sense - but my relatioship with my family is brilliant.

He didn't complete the entire job and he never showed me anything - if he really had genuinley finished the homepage I would have thought that he would at least show that, but he even refused to do that.

Now, you are starting to personally insult me just because I had a bad experience with someone you worked with. You are deluded and are never going to look properly at what he did, so there is no point in my explaining anything to you.

But, think about it, would an honest coder delete his website, delete his email address and leave a forum if he wasn't guilty of something?

My point is if you didnt pay him why complain. I think if your a standup guy (which I doubt) then you should pay him for the services he did provide.

Example- I waited 3 weeks to get a new choke cable put on my motorcycle and change the oil and plugs. After that long they had the oil and plugs done however the choke cable was still sitting in the box, you can believe I called another shop which told me they could do it on that day. I picked up the bike and let them know what I thought and I can tell you I will never use them again but guess what.... I still had to pay them for the work they had done.

    mugzy is right.

No scam happened. You just suspected him of scamming you half way through because he asked for the payment BUT you keep telling him to finish the work even though you already think that he is a scammer? That is really odd to me.

If anything else, he's the one person who loses time here doing the job and not getting anything. I also disagree about reporting him to IC3. There's no scam...only suspicion. Because if thats the case then we can report everyone because we can be suspicious of everybody.

Yes, if he had given me the homepage I would have paid him. But, even though he claimed to have finished it he refused to show it to me, so what do you expect me to do?

Just wanted to say the next person I hired, for the same price, I don't have his DP username but I will get it - he did the perfect job and stuck to all his deadlines and has been paid.

    Hey Calum,

I see mugzy in particular (whom I suspect is the OP with a different name) is all over you! Seems weird. I wouldn't go as far as saying the OP is a scammer, however, I wouldn't use his services. Anyone who says, "its just a ??? site, why you so cross", or "I never set deadlines" is not professional. I run a business and if I need a service I don't need someone who thinks my work is unimportant. I also have deadlines with my client's so I can't have this guy just saying that he doesn't make deadlines.

Anyway, I say all that, to ask this. Will you send the name of the person who eventually did the work. Also a link to where it is so I can see it please..

    Thanks,

    John
