*read fully before entering* Hey everyone. I need a logo for my site groundload.com. It's a site for digital products to be downloaded - with an environmental spin. This site will show your carbon footprint statistics on downloading things you need versus going out and buying them in a box. ** I'd like to have a marketable icon and also the name next to it. (similar to digital point - see above) - but I dont want the icon to be "GL" ** I also don't want it to be too "Green" cheesy. Perhaps a mix of technology and the environment. Example - leaves are ok ... flowers, vines, blades of grass growing on the words ... ugh. ** Bright, fresh, new ideas will win this contest. I will have all remaining rights to the logo after the contest has ended and the transaction has been made. I will be checking quite frequently in order to give feedback/revisions to potential winners. I reserve the right to not choose a winner if I'm not satisfied with the results. Kingsmart - I like where your head is at, but a little less cartoon; more edgy technology kinda. TDGraphics - Yeah I'd like to steer away from the GL. Kinda looking for a more marketable icon than just the initials. Doesn't necessarily need to be blue and green either fellas. (reminder - still looking for AT LEAST two more entrants, so you may want to hold off on submissions until then.) (see rules)
Flybylogo- I did a little market testing on the logo - people were unclear on the rightside logo. A few comments I got were "is that a bug?" "what is that a lizard?" I think its a mouse with a scroll wheel personally, but I still don't know for sure. Can you improve or change ? You may also want to wait to submit - Still looking for more entrants (see rules) also.
Having issues posting here, if theres multiples I apologize. It was trying to say I didn't have authority to post here or something. Nebuk - love your entry. Could I see it without the mirror image and "slogan" - and then center the words so the colors match up in a symmetrical line down the center ? If your leaving it like that in fear of someone (me for example) taking it feel free to put a banner across it.
