$40 Logo / Header Contest

Here is my entry:

Please ignore the "sample" over the logos, thats just so no one takes it and it would of course be removed.

jboo14: Very nice. I'm trying to think of suggestions, I guess I'm not 100% sold on the font. It looks a little too futuristic for what I'm trying to do. I like the political button idea for the logos, but I still like shibligd's revised logo better. Yours is 2nd place probably. A sincere thank you for your great effort.

Wasted: I like the clean design, but it doesn't really reflect Indiana. It's a little too "corporate" and not really what I'm looking for on this site.

I hope you don't mind but I made some font variations for you to look over- I also removed the gray/white reflection in the text. In the last one I also changed the color to red to represent the red and blue of politics.

 

Don't mind at all jboo14, and thanks a lot for the extra efforts. I like the 3rd and 4th one the best, I'll have to give them some thought. Thanks!

With all the local election stuff tonight, I just got in bed forgetting I needed to award a winner.

I've decided to use coolwanz's logo. I want to thank the first (and really only) leader in the contest shibligd for his great ideas and work, and also wasted and phil for the extra revisions and hard work, and all the rest of you as well. It was a tough choice and all the designs were great.

I am planning a third Indiana website (not the one I pm'd you about phil) so keep all your Indiana graphics and ideas for the next one. The contest should start around a week from now.
