    We've taken a look at all the the new entries (along with yours viki). We feel that most of them are not very appealing when scaled small; we also feel that a number of them are too sharp to be considered "modern". We wanted designers to get creative and not only incorporate barbells or dumbbells into their logo. We are capable of making a simple barbell or dumbbell without putting too much thought or twist on it, and wanted a different take on the identity.

    Monkz and deraptor were the only ones to really present something different, but we feel that guideline's logo is better looking and conceptually more sound than Monkz's logo. Deraptor's logo was not really different to us, as we have seen hundreds of gym/bodybuilding logos built on the design of a strong guy flexing.

    If there's any other designs that will have a creative twist, we are pleased to take a look and take them into consideration. We will be ending the contest tomorrow - and as of now guideline's logo is still the best we have seen.

    We think your concept is good, but it could be improved upon. We don't like the font very much though (except the E connected to the D).

    It looks better, but it's still not the style we are going after.

    Your text is good looking, don't get us wrong. It's just your idea of the logo itself. "Modern" does not mean techologic, it doesn't mean futuristic, it means simple, sleek, and seemless (at least to us). Thank you for putting effort into this contest, but we just don't really see our website taking on the style of your logos.
