$40 Logo Contest

I am looking for 2 logos for 2 of my websites:

As the 2 websites are very similar, I would like to have the 2 logos in the same general style (hence the 2 logos contest) while keeping distinct details.

I was thinking of a white background with the logos in the blue (they don't have to be all blue). Definitely "Web 2.0" style. Of course, I'm open to a little negotiation on some of the specifications.

I would like to end this contest in 3 days but if I only get a handful of entries I may have to extend. I will offer critiques to help everyone better understand what I want along the way if there are questions.

I will pay the winner $40 via Paypal. I do reserve the right to not pick any design if I don't find anything that I think is good enough. I also reserve the right to end the contest early if I find a perfect match unless someone posts that they are working on an entry (that would be unfair).

I am going to give it a try. Since you didn't specify size I will start with 100x100 and it can be resized later.

 

Not really as long as they fit nicely on the websites. They are to be placed at the top instead of the current text titles.

I need blue on white instead of white on blue.
I like the second one better. Maybe adjusting the size of the graphic to match the size of the text.
