Contest $40 Logo Contest - Wedding Photography.. challenge!

Dear Creative Designers,

I am rebranding my wedding photography business right now, and I need to design a new logo,

The old logo was designed by me but I don’t like it!

This logo needs to be classy and it needs to have a high-end look and feel.

Please see the info about my requirements:

1. My business is related to documentary and fashion wedding photography, Please see my website:www.emowedding.com

2. My photography is more photo-journalistic and emotional that’s why I decided to call it: “Emotional Wedding Photography”

5. Background colours similar to the website design (i like this cream colour).
My second website - my photography portfolio is all in black: www.gregkowal.com. And I like this contrast.

6. I want this logo to have a high-end, luxury feeling as i want to target my business to high-end customers.

akhilrs - the font looks too bold for me and the logo too tidy, i'd prefer something different.

jagodesign - I like your idea! Please change font used in "Emotional" to different one, more classy one.
in your design, Gregory Kowalski looks slightly pix-elated. Good attempt

SGDESIGNS - i would go with different idea, Gregory Kowalski and Emotional Wedding Photography are too close to each other, i would prefer more space. But this logo is not proportional, so please try to change with different idea.

Bogdan Groza - I'd prefer your previous design, more classy. This design looks hard to read: GK. I would like also to see these deisgn on the background from my website.

Unknown007 - It is Emotional Wedding Photography not marriage photograohy, and i do not like this logo, sorry. it is not as previous attempts of guys posted above you.

 

hi, thanks for the feedback, here is my revision I hope you like it, any feedback will be appreciated again.

 

jagodesign - i like your idea with the ring however "Emotional" looks too narrow, it is merging for my eye but better attempt than before. previous one. Please also go back to the previous version of Gregory Kowalski (i dont like this version).. or you can also remove it, it could look more clear.

akhilrs - slightly better attempt than before, but the logo does not look high-end in overall. I am not sure about these lines what is this for?

 

A few advices:

Colours:
Background - transparent as i want to fit this with the cream colour background of the website, so please use "cream" colour as background.
Main colours - dark, please use similar photos as current logo.

It is your idea about using name - Gregory Kowalski or not (and i will judge this if it suits my needs or not), you can use elements related to the wedding such as if it your idea: rings, doves, dress, etc

This is my namecard, a design done by me again.

And i am quite happy with this, as i want my clients to buy prints, so this could be also your inspiration to fit/suit marketing materials.
And you don't need to change your ideas to put painting frame or anything like that. I am talking about simplicity, beauty and classic feeling of the logo.

Your artistic passion and ideas are the most important,

Thanks for the feedback, Ok here are some revisions you mentioned, I removed the name wording, looking for more simplicity, and I changed the font for "emocional" for one more wider and classy as well, so I hope you like this one, thanks again, any feedback will be welcome.

 

Guys, Thank you for your designs:

jagodesign - I removed the line under 'Wedding Photography' and it looks much better. So i accept that version (without that line) as your final design.. The idea with the ring and lens inside is very creative!

So what i want to say.. This is a strong design! i can not say anything more because i want to see more ideas, still 4 days to go.

sek - Text looks too narrow, and that picture shape does not look very appealing to me. what i could say, please try do sth more unique.. next time with no flowers

bandi - first design is much better than second one. I would rather not have my name as main concept of the logo.. this could be second or none. Fonts merge with each other and they are too narrow so it does not look tempting for my eye.

guideline - I like classic feel there with these two text rows. i do not like font you used for "Emotional", it looks too messy and the logo looks a little bit empty through this.. maybe you can put an emblem related to weddings.
